Dewey Decimal and Library of Congress cards rescued from several libraries get second life here. The comfort of their tangibility and pliability are lost on anyone who has never flipped though a long box of such markers of knowledge. This concertina, snaked across a table or circled like dominoes, calls out for handling - and, we think, laments something missing in today's more virtual world.
