Ann Richwine: "My way of working is intuitive. I am inspired by settings. A room, a house, a wall, glimpsed only for a brief moment can be the catalyst. Something attracts me and I know I must photograph there. The location becomes a stage. Sometimes a person is needed in the setting, at other times the location is enough. My shots are improvised. As I respond to the mood of the location, the unexpected and mysterious develops before my eyes."
