I Never Learned to Knit
By Susan Joy Share
Anchorage, Alaska: 2000. Edition of 2.

Words and images appear and disappear when the Jacob's ladder structure is manipulated. This is the 'magic wallet' version of the Jacob's ladder structure. It doesn't unfold page after page but simply opens to reveal one set of words and objects when opened from the left side and another when opened from the right.

"I never learned to knit, really, but I did learn to cook, clean and crochet and many other things a girl should know."
