Assumpção often uses her art to communicate environmental concerns. This book is about training ourselves to recycle (reciclando), reinvent (reinventando), recreate (recriando), redo (reduzindo), and reuse (reusando) in order to create a world in harmony with nature.

Lucila Machado Assumpção: "This book about the recycling of our minds was created for an interactive workshop with 180 teachers of Holambra. To reflect, paint, cut, and fold was the task to complete the book. The author took 72 [pages done by the teachers] and arranged them in a mandala shape and walked over each of them. Hence came the second part of the title, a play on words: com = with, passos = steps, compassos = the rhythm in which a music is divided."
