Sidelinger was inspired by the collection of artists' sketchbooks at Harvard to fill his own blank book. The illustrations cover his over 50 year career as an artist and teacher. When he was at Syracuse University at the age of 20 he invented his own Visual Language. These were design elements and properties that he uses in his work and has used these as teaching guidelines with his students. |
