Geese
at Gregynog
A late poem by R. Gerallt Jones (1934Ð99). Translated by Joseph
P. Clancy. Wood engravings by Colin See-Paynton. The poet was Warden
of Gregynog between 1989 and 1995, almost the last of his numerous
valuable contributions to the life of Wales and the wider world.
Primarily a man of letters, it is perhaps as a Welsh poet that he
would most wish to be remembered. This splendid poem is printed
as a tribute of affection and admiration in his memory. Letterpress
from Monotype Bembo on Lana mouldmade paper. Handsewn and presented
in specially designed marble paper wrappers with cover label. Edition
of 250. (245 x 150 mm.; 16 pp.)
